The Fort of Delhi

Also known as the “Red Fort”, this is the most important fortress in the entire country and one of the essential monuments in India. It is located in Delhi, next to the Yamuna River and its construction was ordered by Emperor Akbar in the mid-sixteenth century. It is made of red sandstone blocks and has very high walls, reaching seventy meters in some parts.


This building has four entrance gates, of which the most famous are the Delhi Gate and the Lahore Gate. The emperor who ordered its construction was also imprisoned there by his son until the day of his death. It is the red sandstone that gives the fort its most well-known name, "The Red Fort."

Amber Fort

Amber Fort Located on a hilltop very close to the city of Jaipur, it is one of the most impressive palaces you can visit in India. It is a masterpiece of architecture that hides winding corridors and staircases that are well worth getting lost in.



It was built by the ruler Raja Shri Maan Singh Ji I in the late 16th century to showcase the high standard of living at that time and it mixes ornamental and architectural motifs typical of Hindu and Muslim influences.
